Q51x Water-fringing beds of tall helophytes

New search

Description

Waterlogged habitats dominated by tall helophytes in mesotrophic to eutrophic waters at the periodically exposed margins of still or slow-flowing water bodies, sometimes fringing, unlike Q531, riparian forests of unit T111. Communities are generally dominated in each site by clonal beds of a single species, without much ecological difference between the stands of each one. Therefore, at level IV we found it operational to create an umbrella regional unit.
